🌍 Proud to have taken part in the IDC Open Innovation Lab | Company–NGO Matching Day, hosted by Ewha Womans University 이화여자대학교 and MYSC

On June 30, our team joined 21 international development NGOs and 24 social enterprises, startups, and SMEs at Ewha’s Startup Open Space — all gathered around one question: how can the organizations that know the field and the ones that hold the technology solve global challenges together?

The event is part of a KOICA Development Alliance Korea (DAK) policy initiative focused on strengthening the sustainability of income-generation programs for vulnerable communities. What made it different was the framing: not the familiar “donor and recipient” dynamic, but NGOs and companies meeting as equal business partners.

Across seven themes tied directly to the UN SDGs — digital health, WASH & basic infrastructure, resource circulation & carbon reduction, rural development, income generation & vocational training, disability & inclusion, and education & digital transformation — we explored concrete ways to pair on-the-ground networks with innovative technology.

Highlights of the day:

🔹 An insight session led by impact accelerator MYSC
🔹 Agenda-based group matching and networking
🔹 A Fast-Pitch round, where many organizations moved quickly toward Letters of Intent and joint pilot projects (PoCs)

For PRODLE STUDIO, the day delivered on two fronts. First, we connected with new partners — NGOs and fellow innovators whose field networks and missions align closely with ours, opening the door to collaborations we couldn’t have built alone. Second, and just as important, we saw clearly where our technology can make a real difference on the ground — turning what we build into practical solutions for the communities these organizations serve every day.
That combination — the right partners and a clear point of impact — is exactly what makes sustainable, market-based development cooperation possible. We left energized and ready to move from conversation to action.
